Here Are Some Common Features of a Sagely Scholar:
Applies to Sagely during their freshman, sophomore or junior year.
Has a household income of generally less than $65k/year or demonstrates other similar signs of financial need.
Identifies with a historically-marginalized background, such as first-generation, low income, minority, or undocumented immigrant.
Has shown exceptional academic success, typically earning at least a 3.7 GPA while taking AP or other college-level courses.
Has an interest in or is engaged with activities in their schools and wider communities.
Plans to apply nationwide to highly competitive US colleges and universities.
Is a good fit for college partnership programs like Questbridge, Golden Door, and Posse.
Is highly committed to success and motivated to work hard and often throughout the application process.

In the application, be prepared to share the following:
High school transcripts
Basic information about your family’s income and assets
Information about your extracurricular activities
If you are an international student not living in the United States, click here to review additional eligibility information
If you meet our eligibility requirements, we’ll reach out to you for an interview!
